This is the oral appliance which we usually make for physician diagnosed sleep apnea patients. Other appliances are available but this clearly seems to be one of the better appliances. What do the appliances do to cure or improve sleep apnea? They simply bring the mandible (lower Jaw), and everything attached to it, forward. This allows the air passageway to open and remain open.
