Gerald W. McDougal, D.D.S.

I have been in private practice in north Austin for 41 years. I consider myself very lucky to have chosen a job that I love and can do well.

Good dentistry does not just happen, it takes hard work and strong desire to perform and provide the best dentistry available. Austin citizens are lucky to have a significant number of very good dentists to choose from.

My strong points are:
1. I try to be a perfectionist. When I am lucky my dentistry is perfect, when I am not lucky it is just very good.
2. I have never had financial goals in my practice. I have been asked by young dentists a few times to share my advice about having a successful practice. My answer is, do a good job and the money will come.
3. I practice on the philosophy that people pay me to do a good job. I personally expect to receive a good service or product when I spend my money. Dental patients have that same right to expect good dental services. That is what you are paying for.

 

Dental Hygienist - Erin

Erin received her degree in dental hygiene from the University of Texas Health Science center, San Antonio in 2003. Erin is an active member of ADHA, and serves on the Board of Directors for the local Austin chapter.

She is very thorough, and is complimented regularly on her gentle on time appointments.

 

Dental Assistant - Sarah

Sarah is a RDA, and has been with the Practice since July of 2006 .She has established herself as an important part of our team, and is dedicated to providing a comfortable environment to our patients.

 

  

Office Manager - Laura

Laura is a RDA, and has worked in both Front Office and as a Dental Assistant since 1997. She has been with the practice since October of 2002. Having both Dental Assistant and Front Office experience she can help with a wide variety of questions ranging from how to use your insurance more effectively to helping patient understand their dental treatment options.
